PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS FOR MEDICATION
Medications such as the TNF-a inhibitors have shown very promising results in some people with AS, not everyone has access to them. There are programs that may be able to help financially.
Abbott Patient Assistance Program HUMIRA Protection Plan
- From the site:
“The Abbott Patient Assistance Foundation provides free Abbott medicines, medical nutrition products, and diabetes care products to qualified patients who are experiencing financial difficulties and who generally do not have coverage available for these products through private insurance or government funded programs.”
Centocor AccessOne Patient Assistance Program

Provides information about patient assistance programs for Remicade and Simponi.
Chronic Disease Fund
- Their focus is to provide assistance to those under-insured patients who are diagnosed with chronic or life altering diseases that require the use of expensive, specialty therapeutics.

Merck Helps
